GadgetG About

About

Everyday tech, judged where it lives.

GadgetG is an independent review site for the gadgets that end up on desks, nightstands, kitchen counters and front doors.

Why GadgetG exists

Most gadget reviews are written on a clean studio table. Most gadgets are used somewhere else: on a crowded desk, beside a bed, on a kitchen counter that gets wiped down twice a day. GadgetG starts with that room and works back to the product.

What we cover

We cover the everyday tech people buy for their homes and their day: chargers, docks and monitors for the desk; speakers, streaming boxes and smart lighting for the living room; displays and smart plugs for the kitchen; sunrise alarms and sleep audio for the bedroom; power banks, earbuds and adapters for the day out; and smart locks and doorbells for the front door.

How we organise it

Every pick is filed three ways. Room tells you where it fits. Ecosystem tells you which phone, assistant and app it works best with. Budget tells you which lane it belongs in and where spending more stops helping.

What we are not

GadgetG is not a retailer, a manufacturer or a brand partner. We do not sell products, accept payment for reviews or let brands see a verdict before it is published.

How we are funded

Some links on GadgetG are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Our affiliate disclosure explains how this works and what it never changes.
